Multiple industrial print technologies to help you print on plastics

Continuous Ink Jet Printers:
Fluid based, non-contact printing of up to fives lines of text, linear and 2D bar codes, printed on a variety of plastic packaging. Over 300 different ink formulations to aid code adhesion, durability and legibility on plastics.

Laser Marking Solutions:
A beam of infrared light focused and steered with a series of carefully controlled small mirrors to create marks where the heat of the beam interacts with the plastic packaging surface.

Thermal Transfer Overprinters:
A digitally controlled printhead precisely melts ink from a ribbon directly onto flexible plastic films to provide high-resolution, real-time prints.

With the six Videojet DataFlex printers in my facility, we can mark 250,000 bags with one roll of ribbon. All I have to do to change the code is tap the touch screen, create the price and then the expiration date. It takes only a minute. Using thermal transfer printing means operators have one less thing to be concerned about.
